Located on Maryland's Eastern Shore in Dorchester County, the Jacob Jackson Home Site is an incredibly flat expanse of land, with little differences to spot with the naked eye In the process of making these maps of the Jacob Jackson Home Site, historic trail networks were discovered through analyzing LiDAR imagery of hillshade and digital elevation models. This form of representation adds integral layered combinations of history, the results of which informed the production of period plans later on in CLR production, as well as future interpretation for the park.
